Waterly

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 19, 2026

The short version: Waterly is built to be private. Your hydration data lives on your device, we don't require an account, we don't run ads, and we don't track you. We can't see your logs.

This Privacy Policy explains how the Waterly mobile app ("Waterly", "we", "us") handles information. By using Waterly you agree to this policy.

1. Information stored on your device

Everything you enter in Waterly is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to us:

This data stays in Waterly's local storage on your device. We have no server that receives or stores it, and we cannot access it.

2. Information we do not collect

Waterly does not require an account and does not collect your name, email, contacts, location, photos, or advertising identifiers. We do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, and Waterly does not show ads.

3. Purchases and subscriptions

If you buy Waterly Premium, the transaction is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see or store your payment details.

To manage subscriptions and unlock premium features across your devices, we use RevenueCat, a subscription-management service. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated app user ID and your purchase/subscription status (for example, whether a subscription is active). It does not receive your name or payment information. See RevenueCat's privacy policy for details.

4. Notifications

If you enable reminders, notifications are scheduled and delivered locally by your device's operating system. No reminder data is sent to us.

5. How information is shared

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data. The only third parties involved are the service providers described above (Apple, Google, RevenueCat) acting to process your purchases.

6. Data retention and deletion

Because your data is stored only on your device, you are in control of it. Deleting the app removes all locally stored Waterly data. You can also clear individual entries within the app.

7. Children

Waterly is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights over your personal data. Because Waterly does not collect or store personal data on our servers, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. If you have questions, contact us.

9. Security

Your data is protected by your device's own security. We recommend using a device passcode and keeping your operating system up to date.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
